earlier ..... also known as allotment, is now back in fashion.
There are now some initiatives to grow the vegetables and other crops in the middle of Berlin.
For example, at Moritzplatz.
The "princess gardens" build ecologically vegetables, have three colonies and a café where you get the way, delicious fresh mint tea and freshly picked salads on the 1000-square meter site.
A student of our faculty, there will soon investigate how the input of pollutants from cars, airplanes, etc. impact on the vegetables, so how the vegetables are contaminated or not.
